We are excited to announce that filming has begun for Detroit: The City of Faith!

This film will shine the light on the Christian community and the early immigrants who made their way to the Motor City in search of the American dream. We will focus on the bridging and bonding that faith brings to our communities. We will hear from current-day spiritual leaders to better understand the journey their congregations took. They will teach us about our similarities and our differences so that, in a spirit of partnership, we can unlock the potential for positive change.

This film is a sequel to our 2022 film, Detroit: The City of Churches where we explored 17 of Detroit's most historical iconic churches.

The upcoming trailer for The City of Faith features recent filming at Kirk in the Hills, St. Hugo of the Hills Parish, Basilica of St. Mary - Livonia, MI, St Thomas Chaldean Church in West Bloomfield, and Church of the Holy Family Novi.

It's our goal to have the film ready to debut on DPTV/ PBS in the spring of 2024 after a community premiere celebration.
